Visiting Homemaker Service of Warren County, Inc.(VHS) is a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to providing quality in-home care to Warren County Residents. Established in 1966, VHS has been serving permanently and temporarily disabled Warren County Residents for over 50 years.
Visiting Homemaker Service of Warren County, Inc provides quality in-home care to any Warren County resident who is either permanently or temporarily disabled, or is unable to perform normal daily living tasks due to either illness or mental/physical disabilities.

Our Certified Home Health Aides may assist, provide support and/or perform the following services:
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with ambulation/transfers/exercise regime
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation
- Shopping/laundry/light housekeeping
- Companionship
- Respite for primary caregivers

Visiting Homemaker's Registered Nurses make routine visits to the homes of our clients to develop individualized Plans of Care and to provide our Home Health Aides with the information they need to best serve our clients based on their individual needs.

Visiting Homemaker Service will coordinate services for families and other unpaid caregivers who need a break from the daily responsibility of caring for an elderly or disabled individuals.

Coordinate the delivery of meals by volunteers to elderly/disabled home-bound individuals in our community.

Visiting Homemaker Service coordinates, recruits, matches and manages volunteers with consumers that are referred by Warren County Division of Aging & Disability Services for the following programs: Chore Corp, Bill Payer, Friendly Visitor, Volunteer Shopper, Volunteer Essential Medical Transportation and Telephone Reassurance.
